MOOD RING
Mood Ring is an interactive mirror that reflects the emotion of the viewer back to them using colored light. The mirror uses facial recognition to determine one’s mood.
Mood Ring was most recently demo’d at ITP’s 2018 Winter Show. You can learn more about the project here.
Mood Ring uses a USB webcam connected to a computer running a facial recognition javascript library (called clmtrackr) to identify a mood (happy, sad, angry, surprised) and activate the LED light strip. You can find the project code here.
